Obituary for Peggy L. M. Hughes (Harold)
Jacksonville-Peggy L.M. Hughes, 86, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Heart of Georgia Inpatient Unit in Perry, GA.
Peggy was born on August 24, 1931 in Ipswich England to the late Alfred G. Harold and Lily Wythe. She was a hard worker always willing to help provide for her family. Peggy retired from Security First Federal Bank in Deltona, FL as a customer service representative. Peggy was proud of her English heritage and spent a lot of her time following the Royal family and researching her heritage. Her greatest love was her family, whom she was most proud. Peggy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Hughes.
Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Carol Hack (Charles) of Jacksonville, FL, Linda Hughes (Michael Jansen) of Fayetteville, NC and Susan Paull (Michael) of Warner Robins, GA; 4 grandchildren: Kathryn, Tori, Megan and Matthew; 2 sisters: Rita Spooner and Dorothy Cobbold of England; 2 brothers: Bobby Harold and Glenn Harold of England and many beloved nieces, nephews and extended family members.
The family has requested that all services be private and that in lieu of flowers; please make donations to the hospice of your choice.
