Obituary for John Anthony Gerecht
Perry- John Anthony Gerecht, 63, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Houston Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 11:00 am in Burpee-Scott Chapel with full military honors. The family will also receive friends on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 10:00-11:00 am and immediately following the services. The Reverend Fred McCoy will be officiating.
John was born in El Paso, TX on May 8, 1954 to the late Frank and Barbara Null Gerecht. He faithfully and proudly served his country in the United States Army for 21 years. John loved his family, especially his grandchildren and just living life to the fullest. He was also member of the mason’s.
John leaves behind to cherish his memory, daughters: Sarah McLendon of Perry and Barbara Gerecht of Warner Robins; 7 grandchildren: Adam, Brianna, Elizabeth, Noah, Daphnie & Isaiah; brother: Mark Gerecht; sisters: Teresa Dail, Cindy Gould, Lynn Friend & Connie Gerecht; several nieces and nephews.
